Ferdinand P. Dayro MSAHP, PTRP, CA, ADS has been involved in the study and practice of Traditional Oriental Medicine since 2003.
Ferdinand graduated with a degree of Master of Science in Asian Health Practices from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center Inc.(UERMMMCI), Prior to that he is also a Licensed Physical Therapist since 1997; and in 2003 to 2005 he is in then in concurrent internships with a Korean acupuncturist, in private practice, with the Philkor Oriental Medicine Clinic, also received mentorship from an American acupuncturist, a visiting consultant for acupuncture of the Department of Health – Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (DOH – PITAHC).
In 2003 Ferdinand begin practicing Traditional Oriental Medicine particularly acupuncture and was affiliated with different centers such as Philkor Oriental Medicine Clinic,Dongbang Oriental Medicine Hospital Light Infinity Wellness Centre, Arcega Medical Clinic, and MV Santiago Medical Center.
Currently he is an Acupuncturist and Herbologist at Prime Meridian Acupuncture Clinic, and an Integrative Medicine Practitioner at MV Santiago Medical Center. He is also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA - Philippines) and a faculty in the UERMMMCI - Graduate School for the GS Program - Master of Science in Asian Health Practices.
Currently he is an Acupuncturist and Herbologist at Prime Meridian Acupuncture Clinic, and an Integrative Medicine Practitioner at MV Santiago Medical Center. He is also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA - Philippines) and a faculty in the UERMMMCI - Graduate School for the GS Program - Master of Science in Asian Health Practices.
Some of Ferdinand Dayro’s areas of study have been Korean, American, Chinese and Japanese style acupuncture, Oriental medicine, Chinese herbology and diet and nutrition. Ferdinand P. Dayro is a Certified Acupuncturist (CA) of the Department of Health – Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (DOH – PITAHC), registered Physical Therapist since 1997, and Masters Graduate with a degree of Master of Science in Asian Health Practices in 2010 and a scholar of the Department of Science and Technology under the Philippine Council for Research and Human Development (DOST-PCHRD).His Masters’ thesis, defended and passed is entitled “Validation Of Ethnomedicine Use of Bambusa vulgaris Schrad. Ex. Wendl. (Bamboo shoot) against Candida spp”.
